What cookies are

The law we follow
In the UK, the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) require consent before a website stores or reads any cookie that is not strictly necessary. Where cookies identify you, the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 also apply. Lasefinity Ltd, company number 17112478, is responsible for the cookies set by this website.
How we ask for consent
- No analytics or other optional cookies are set until you choose. Google Analytics runs with storage denied until then.
- Nothing is pre-selected. Analytics stays off unless you switch it on or choose “Accept all”.
- Your choice is saved in your own browser for 12 months. After that, or if this policy changes significantly, we ask again.
- You can change or withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawing deletes the Google Analytics cookies from your browser.

Analytics

Advertising and social media
Not used. This website does not set advertising, remarketing or social media tracking cookies.
Google Analytics
If you allow analytics, Google Analytics 4 collects information such as the pages you visit, how long you stay, the website that referred you, and your approximate location, browser and device type. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. We use this information in aggregate to understand how the site is used; it does not tell us who you are.
Google LLC provides the service and may process data in the United States. Transfers from the UK rely on the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. You can read how Google uses this data at policies.google.com, and you can block Google Analytics on every website with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Third-party content that does not set our cookies
- Google Fonts. Page text uses fonts loaded from Google’s servers. This does not set cookies, but your browser sends Google your IP address to download the font files.
- OpenStreetMap. The office maps on the contact page are loaded from openstreetmap.org and are covered by the OpenStreetMap Foundation privacy policy.
Controlling cookies in your browser
Besides the cookie settings on this site, you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary storage means the site cannot remember your choice, so the banner will appear on each visit.
