We hire for capability and curiosity rather than a specific list of tools. If you have worked on machines, lasers, metals or control systems, in industry or in research, that experience transfers.
Where we usually need people
These are the areas we recruit into. Roles open and close as projects move, so speculative applications are genuinely welcome.
Mechanical and systems engineering
Machine architecture, motion, gas handling and thermal design for L-PBF and DED platforms.
Optics, lasers and controls
Beam delivery, scanner integration, laser safety and the control software that sits over it.
Research engineering and process development
Research engineer roles: parameter development for new alloys, porosity and microstructure work, process monitoring.
Quality, applications and support
QA engineer roles covering build, inspection and delivery quality, plus working with customers on orientation, supports, build strategy and training.
